Okay this has nothing to do with Elle but it is hilarious!!! Ami sent it to me and Ryan and I about cried we laughed so hard. If Elle dances anything like this kid I will die of laughter. Enjoy.

1 month in 1 day!

So on Wednesday Elle aged one month in one day. No joke it was very eventful. First she was just hanging out on the floor while I was playing the piano. When I looked over Elle was on her side about to roll over. I ran over and got the camera, then she did it! She rolled over on to her tummy. Since then she has been doing it non stop.

Then she was continuing to be adorable. She started reaching for things. She has been playing with toys for a while now, but we had to put the toy in her hand for her. Now if I lay a toy next to her she will find it and pick it up, all by herself!! Now she grabs anything she can get her hands on. This includes hair, glasses, drawstrings and cats. She also reached for me for the first time! I always stick my arms out and ask "do you want up?" pretending like she will actually do something, and she did!! I of course duplicated the moment on camera.





Lastly but certainly not least she started giggling a lot more. When Ryan got home from work she laughed at about anything. Unfortunately she is her own little person and refuses to show anyone else. Abbi was with us all day and not one giggle escaped her mouth. At least I have Ryan and my witness. I mean I was lucky if I heard 2-3 giggles a week and I get a few a day. That is a big improvement.

By the way Elle seems to be doing better. She only cried during one feeding yesterday, but she drank her entire bottle. Oh I almost forgot, Elle is also finally sleeping in a sleep sack instead of being swaddled. I use the term "sleeping" loosely. Right now she is actually talking to herself and playing with her hands. But she slept all night in her sleep sack without a peep. I was worried about the transition (that is why she has been swaddled for 5 months) but I think she will do just fine. Yeah Elle, but if you want to stop growing up for a while I am okay with that.

Elle is........

Well I'm not sure where to start. Elle went on her first airplane trip! We went to Utah for my cousin Heather's wedding. We had a great time. Here are the amusing/interesting parts. As we were boarding the plane Elle decided to pee all over me. I'm not even sure how she did it. Her diaper was dry, she must have missed it and just gone out the side. So Ryan, my mom and I were trying to change her clothes and diaper on our laps while she is screaming her brains out. Plus I was already super nervous about having a crying baby on a plane. To make it worse I heard some turd complain about Elle! Luckily she calmed down before the plan even took off and was great the rest of the flight.

We woke Elle for this picture that is the only reason she was crying. She slept the entire flight home!

We stayed at an awesome SpringHill Suites. The impressive part was we fit Myself, Ryan, Elle, Abbi, Joseph, and my mom in one room!!!! Comfortably too. The room had a large walk in closet that we called Elle's room. Her port-a-crib fit perfect! (no I'm not a bad mom she really liked it, really) Our only problem was the first night Elle was stopped up if you know what I mean, and could not sleep due to discomfort. She cleared out her system that next day and was great for the rest of the trip! We had a great time, we were so proud she was such a travel friendly baby.

So here is the cruddy news. Elle seems to be reverting to Elle "I hate to eat" baby. We also went on a trip to visit Ryan's Dad and forgot Elle's Prilosec at home!!! We didn't even think it was helping her so we didn't worry about it. Well she was fine while on the trip but then seemed really unhappy the moment we arrived at home! She cried and would not eat, well not much. When I thought about it Elle has never ate without crying at least 1-2 times a day. I kept making excuses like "oh she is just tiered" or "it will get better when she is not constipated" (which she is not anymore :) ) But it doesn't make sense that she would have the same symptoms for different problems. Well I talked to a nurse about changing her dosage of Prilosec. I mean she has grown a good amount so maybe she just needs more? They adjusted her dosage and we are just crossing our fingers to see if it is going to work. She is better but not quite right. She will have some bottles where she is perfect and other bottles where she fusses and cries the entire time. We have tried 5 different formulas but nothing has worked. Normal babies just eat right? I'm not crazy, they are supposed to be happy to eat right?

Other than the occasional sad feeding, Elle is so fun. She is changing so much. She just started to play with toys! Here is a picture of the first time she realized she could hold things.




So funny she looked so confused. I went a little crazy that day and put like 20 toys by her, it was funny. She also continues so giggle although not often and VERY sporadically. She will giggle and I will do exactly what I just did and, nothing. She is very funny. She is also talking a lot more. She will make the silliest sounds, she cracks me up all day. She is still trying to roll on to her tummy but is getting very close. Her darn arm is always in the way. Her are some cute pictures I have been taking.

Utah is the land of big hair and big hair accessories. We were at a mall looking at these hair things. I thought this looked ridiculous but now I think it is cute. I wish I would have bought it.

This is my "Elle and Ryan look IDENTICAL" picture. I will scan a picture of Ryan as a baby you will all lose your minds with the resemblance.

Well sorry this post is so long. I will try to write more often so they aren't as long.
